Frequently Asked Question
Do you provide safety equipment?
Yes, we provide boots, body armour, and riding hats.
Do I need to wear a riding hat at all times around a horse?
Yes, you are required to wear a riding hat whenever you are around a horse.
How long is the lesson?
Lead rein lessons*: 45 minutes (£30 in cash or £32 via PayPal).
Normal adult and children’s lessons*: 1 hour (£35 in cash or £38 via PayPal).
What is the price of a lesson?
£35 if paid in cash on the day.
£38 if prepaid via PayPal.
Can I pay online, and when should I pay?
Yes, all lessons must be paid in advance. Please pay no sooner than 24 hours before the lesson, ideally the morning of the lesson.
What happens if I’m ill on the day? Do I have to pay a cancellation fee?
Unfortunately, we have a 72-hour cancellation policy. This is due to horse allocation and welfare arrangements already being in place.
Can we go trekking?
Yes, trekking is available. For bookings or activity requirements, please use our dedicated booking line.
What other services do you offer?
Birthday parties*: Please contact us via email or call our booking line.
Pony parties*: Available upon inquiry; use the booking line or email us.
Pony camp days*: Yes, these are also available.
How will I know the horse is allocated correctly for me?
Before riding, you will be required to complete a ride registration form. This form helps us assess your riding ability and ensures the correct horse is allocated to you.
Are horses dangerous?
Yes, horse riding is a dangerous sport, and you ride at your own risk. While we are insured, it is important to note that insurance only applies in cases of negligence. Safety is our priority, and we encourage all riders to understand the risks involved.
